We are actively seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to add to our team! The Carrier Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new and existing relationships with various transportation providers and will negotiate rates to procure transportation for all customers. In this role, you will be the expert on brokering freight within the carrier network and providing best-in-class service. As a skilled negotiator, you will have the ability to make an immediate impact in this face-paced environment, while, building your book of business. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish new and build upon existing relationships with carriers daily.
  • Negotiate rates and broker loads with carriers and shippers to move freight; manage all pricing situations.
  • Build new leads and carrier partnerships outside of the load board in order grow your book of business.
  • Continuously track and monitor loads; provide quick response time to urgent issues.
  • Provide differentiated customer service to carriers and customers regarding ongoing shipments.
  • Research market trends and review market conditions continuously.
  • Communicate with the team and work collaboratively with all carriers, customers and Sarisa team members.
